I am completely with Adam Navill's love of the more traditional and colourful supernatural horror stories. Although I still enjoy more modern works, the Victorian/Edwardian period produced works of such vibrant imagination and set the tone for so much of the formulaic writing in the 20th century.
I had low appreciation of this until researching for my own novels, TabelRappers, and have come to love the writing style of those times.

Thank you for this post, I will be adding Banquet For The Damned to my bookshelves.

Hi Kamilla

How are you?

Thanks for answering my question, Porky and Beefy sound like a lot of fun and you even missed a bike ride for them, you are one strong willed lady I think (even back then!).

Good luck with the book.
